How to enable CAPS LOCK on your iOS keyboard

I'm sure many people use capital letters when typing messages on their smart phones. And iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) does a good job at automatically capping your first words right after the last fullstop. It will also capitalize certain words automatically like, ASAP, FYI and also all the first letters of names or days, like Michael, John, Monday, Tuesday, etc... You get the drag. But besides that, when and if you want to type a whole word in capital letters for whatever reasons (for example, trying to show that you are shouting, gasping or just want to stress a certain word in your sentence), many would repeatedly type in the "SHIFT" key repeatedly for every letter being typed. There is an easier way...

Usually, in your computer keyboard, there is a "CAPS LOCK" key that will simplify your task when you want to SHOUT. Or you could just hold on to the shift key and continue typing (beats repeatedly pressing the key). In iOS, it is actually a very intuitive way to CAPS LOCK your touch keyboard. All you have to do is double-tap the SHIFT key (the one with an arrow pointing up), your SHIFT key will turn blue and that signifies you are now in perpetual CAPS LOCK mode! Tapping the SHIFT key one more time will return you back to normal mode. Its that easy!

And oh, this feature has to be turned on in your settings. Just go to your iOS Settings -> General -> Keyboard and make sure the switch "Enable Caps Lock" is turned to ON. Many site says this is off by default, but I don't remember having to manually turn this to ON before I could use it. But hey, never hurts to check it first ;)
